what's the difference between the GOTD and the free sound recorder that is being offered below the feedback?
In other words, which do we choose & which is better?

Perhaps the one below the feedback works. The iRecordMax certainly doesn't, and I have no idea how to go about getting it fixed within the Giveaway period. I will go back to using Total Recorder, thank you.
After just trying the offer product and the free product listed under the feedback box, only significant(ish) difference is the GUI is more cramped in this commercial product and the free only records from the systems default configured record device, while the commercial product allows you to select any of the enumerated recording devices.
So really no significant improvements for the comercial product over the differently named free product.
